PETALING JAYA: Forty-one students from the tabligh cluster have fully recovered from Covid-19 as of Sunday (April 12), says Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

PETALING JAYA: Forty-one students from the tabligh cluster have fully recovered from Covid-19 as of Sunday , says Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham AbdullahThe patients, who were students from a tahfiz school in Sri Petaling, were discharged from Hospital Cancelor Tuanku Mukhriz on Sunday .

“They were quarantined at Institut Sosial Malaysia and on April 2, the third swab test which was taken on March 30, was positive,” Dr Noor Hisham said in a Facebook post on Sunday .He said that only one student had a cough on April 5 and he was treated with hydroxychloroquine.Dr Noor Hisham said screening and treatment at a preliminary stage are vital in order to ensure that patients fully recover from Covid-19.

“Nevertheless, obtaining treatment at a preliminary level during stage one to three is very important," he said.
