UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said: 'I can't thank them enough. I owe them my life.'

Boris Johnson's first public statement since he was moved out of intensive care at St Thomas' Hospital, in central London, followed a daily briefing in which Home Secretary Priti Patel said she was "sorry" if people felt there had been "failings" in protecting health workers.

Thanking NHS medics for pulling him through, Mr Johnson said: "I can't thank them enough. I owe them my life." Julie Omar, 52, a trauma and orthopaedics nurse at Redditch's Alexandra Hospital, in Worcestershire, also died while self-isolating at home with symptoms of the virus. The RCN said it would provide legal assistance to those making what it acknowledged was an "enormously difficult decision" and warned them that they could face criminal prosecution for corporate manslaughter in "very rare" cases for walking away.US records world's highest Covid-19 death toll

The RCN recommends those choosing to withdraw care should keep written justifications of their decisions and told nurses to brace for attempts to sack them, claims of clinical negligence, and possibly facing criticism at inquests or even criminal charges.

Thank God Boris is okay he's now gonna really help NHS

also the man who voted against a pay rise for nurses in 2017 and cheered when the weren’t granted one

The man who voted with his mates to refuse them a pay rise in 2017............how God can humble you.

Maybe the next time the conservatives deny nurses a pay increase they won't cheer.

Well make a start and reverse the mps pay rise and give the nhs the 350million a week, but you won't

Think a pay review body similar to that for MPs is what he needs to implement

Its time every government sues the chinese communist party for restitution because of the Sars 2 Covid virus.

Support ur NHS now and stop asking your front line staff to wear plastic bags on their faces to protect themselves as reported on The Andrew Marr show today 12/04/20

I owe them my life, but they can't have a payrise

If Boris owes his life to the NHS (as he says), then perhaps he will dedicate the rest of his life to genuinely supporting & championing the NHS?

Pay them better !!!

Boris was lucky, he only had the 'Celebrity strain'' of COVID19 which is not fatal .

Nice. Now about that pay rise for them you voted against in 2017...

So get them PPE and pay them a decent wage

There was fuck all wrong with him

This from a PM who went round shaking peoples hands during the epidemic. A Trumpian lackey.

Then fuckin pay them a proper wage

He can, he can pay them properly.

Can’t thank them enough. If only he was in the position to have given them the PPE they need and to pay them properly. RTE need to start questioning their actions not just giving them a platform in the 9.00 news. UK got this one (and others) completely wrong.

OBE's MBE's and KBE's etc for everyone including John Bercow

British PM! Boris Becker

Lest you forget BorisJohnson Conservatives 10DowningStreet

He's helped to wreck the NHS, its been under funded for years.

Them that u wanted too cut there wages more

'The RCN said it would provide legal assistance to those making what it acknowledged was an 'enormously difficult decision' and warned them that they could face criminal prosecution for corporate manslaughter in 'very rare' cases for walking away.' Yikes.

The Crime Minister Boris Johnson owes the NHS £67,566,649,091.73 so far.

Lol. He is actively destroying them and RTE allows this unchallenged.
