WELLINGTON: New Zealand reported 18 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing the total number of Covid-19 (coronavirus) cases to 1,330 in the country. Dr. Ashley Bloomfield, Director-General of Health from New Zealand Ministry of Health gave the update on daily Covid-19 press conference on Sunday (April 12).

Dr. Ashley Bloomfield, Director-General of Health from New Zealand Ministry of Health gave the update on daily Covid-19 press conference on Sunday. Although community transmission constitutes only two percent of the total Covid-19 cases in New Zealand, there are 13 clusters of Covid-19 outbreak across the country, including three significant clusters within retirement villages.
