Health Ministry sets up centralised database to address PPE distribution

Supply of personal protective equipment is a problem around the world amid the Covid-19 pandemic. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, April 11, 2020.

PUBLIC healthcare workers facing a shortage of personal protective equipment should report their need to the designated officers who will channel requests for supplies to a centralised database, Director-General of Health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said. The Health Ministry is keeping a centralised inventory as part of efforts to keep track of the PPE stock at all its health facilities.
