Bonilla said the firm had continued to operate its assembly plant under the argument it provided an “essential” service, when most non-essential plants have been ordered closed to combat the pandemic.But Bonilla ordered the Smiths Medical factory closed, because he argued it was providing no such essential service to Mexicans, and thus was not obeying health emergency contingency measures.

Mexico is right to close a plant that will use their country and workforce to make money but won't supply ventilators to save them. A US life is not worth more than any other. 50/50 split on ventilators would be fair and better than a total shut down.
Fair enough, yes the US has a problem that it created by using American thinking but this is a global problem that will be solved globally. We NEED to help one another. Me attitude leads to more death.
