Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, has said he was not aware of the bad state of the nation’s health sector until he became the chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
“I can tell you for sure, I never knew that our entire healthcare infrastructure was in the state in which it is until I was appointed to do this work. The SGF said the task force would not be directly responsible for the disbursement of cash donations for COVID-19 and stressed the need for transparency and accountability in managing the health crisis.
