CNN has been informed by a spokesman for Vice President Michael Pence that it cannot have access to top government health officials grappling with the nation’s coronavirus pandemic unless it televises specific portions of the Trump Administration’s daily briefings on the spread of the disease.
The contretemps would mark just the latest in a series of disagreements between the AT&T-owned cable-news outlet and the Trump White House. President Donald Trump has regularly denigrated CNN’s coverage since taking office, and the network has maintained a “facts first” positioning, telling viewers and critics alike that it is beholden to find the truth of the stories it presents, not curry favor with the administration.
'Trump administration tries to limit CNN’s access to health officials.' Good. How is that any worse than CNN actively censors professional info on how 5G attacks our immune systems?
The tremendous loser POTUS is scared!
CNN has chosen to not air Fauci & Birx DAILY PRESS BRIEFINGS! They then only air what fits their narrative!
Excuse me really
That’s what happens when “the news” tries to limit people’s access to the actual news. Censorship has consequences!
Fake News
Screw you Yahoo!
Good deal!
If CNN were a true journalistic entity, they would not selectively air parts of the briefings. And Yahoo is as biased as any of these liberal networks, skewing information to fit their Democrat-supporting narratives. Stop the bias!
Is this legal? The President is elected to support the Constitution and the people. This is public information, that he would be with holding from the public. Wow- TRUMP is a criminal, and should be treated as such.
Media needs to help America not try to keep framing the past. CNN used to be a 24 hr news service. Sadly now its 24 hrs on News Pundits and Parrot Talk. Fox is no better.
Yahoo blows
Crooks
