Covid-19: Armed Forces personnel help health staff conduct screenings at airports

Thursday, 09 Apr 2020 11:53 PM MYTSEPANG, April 9 — Malaysian Armed Forces personnel are now not only assisting police at roadblocks but also helping health personnel to conduct health screenings at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport and KLIA2.

“MAF personnel will assist MOH staff in maintaining the social distance among passengers who have just arrived, as well as conducting health screenings on the passengers such as checking their body temperature and inquiring about their travel history. Meanwhile, MOH health officer at KLIA Dr Harishah Talib said assistance from the MAF had helped ease and speed up the health screening process.
