COVID-19: 6,000 health professionals apply for volunteer work in Kano

The Kano State Government said over 6,000 medical and health professionals have applied to assist the state as volunteers in the fight against the spread of coronavirus.

Other volunteers needed are laboratory technicians and scientists, pharmacists and pharmaceutical technicians, environmental health officers and environmental health assistants. He said the state and federal governments are also setting up a diagnostic centre in Kano to treat COVID-19 patients.
