COVID-19: Niger Govt begs retired health workers for help

In a press statement issued by Secretary to the State Government and Chairman, Niger State Task Force on COVID-19, Ahmed Ibrahim Matane, he explained that although the State was yet to record any single case,

Against this backdrop, the SSG urged all the Local Government Chairmen in the State to ensure that the precautionary measures taken by Government to curb the spread of coronavirus in the State were adhered strictly to by the people in their councils. He stated that the State Task Force on COVID-19 had a duty to work closely with all relevant stakeholders in order to ensure that everything was done to reduce the chance of the virus taking root in the State.

They beg retired health workers to come back but sideline those in service. Is it really lack of manpower or through back door returning to service or something else? Unfortunately even at the federal level the samething is happening.
