It’s a practice that became commonplace in Italy, which has recorded more deaths from the novel coronavirus than anywhere else and has now taken hold in British Columbia. As of the latest numbers released on March 28, 2020, there are a total of 884 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in B.C.
