Beyond Blue's lead clinical advisor Dr Grant Blashki says it’s important to stay calm and be very “proactive in looking after your mental health” during the coronavirus crisis.

28/03/2020Beyond Blue's lead clinical advisor Dr Grant Blashki says it’s important to stay calm and be very “proactive in looking after your mental health” during the coronavirus crisis.

Mr Blashki told Sky News the Beyond Blue’s website has a forum about coping with the crisis and managing mental health concern during this time. “We are getting more than 2000 people a day, it’s a safe space where people can share their stories and get advice,” he said. Anyone who may be feeling distressed can contact the following organisations for support.

Palmer to fund coronavirus drug trial | Sky News AustraliaQueensland billionaire Clive Palmer says he is determined to personally fund tests of anti-malerial drugs that he hopes can 'cure' people suffering from the novel coronavirus, COVID-19.\n\nMr Palmer told Sky News he will use his own money to buy significant quantities of the drugs hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine in the hope it will be effective against COVID-19.\n\nThe millionaire former politician took out advertisements in News Corp papers spruiking the trial, however the Therapeutic Goods Administration is now investigating whether the ad breaches drugs advertising rules. \n\nHydroxychloroquine and chloroquine have not been shown to be effectively against the disease, and US senior medical researcher Doctor Anthony Fauci warning anti-malarial drugs in general may not be the answer when it comes to eradicating the novel pathogen.\n\nImage: News Corp Australia\n\n\n\n So why doesn't he shut up and just do it...
