Seven areas in Klang Valley to experience water supply disruption

Districts which will be affected are Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Klang/Shah Alam, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Gombak and Kuala Langat.Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd corporate communications head Abdul Halem Mat Som said operations were halted at the four water treatment plants due to odour pollution which was detected at Sungai Selangor.“Air Selangor has reported the matter to the Selangor Water Management Authority for further action.

“Air Selangor will also inform affected consumers on the water disruption from time to time. Consumers are reminded to use water wisely. “The public can obtain the latest information on water supply through Air Selangor’s app or send a text to 15300 for further enquiries and assistance,” Abdul Halem said in a statement.
