Coronavirus ban: more than 100 Australian doctors and dentists stuck on cruise ship off Chile

More than 100 Australian doctors and dentists are trapped on board a cruise ship that is currently stuck off the coast of Chile after the country banned cruise ships from docking in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nice to see what we taxpayers are paying for through ato_gov_au deductions. What percentage of this is convention, and what percentage is recreation, and is the tax deduction pro-rated appropriately? Or is it paid for and claimed as “training” by some drug company?

It will take 2 months to sail back to Australia ha ha, When did they actually leave? This sounds a bit suss. Who else is on this ship?

This horror show of unconventional conventionalists should be banned from Antarctic territory as well. Don't want them swinging with the penguins down under either.

So actual real licensed doctors and dentists willingly got on a cruise ship not thinking it may be unwise or dangerous or problematic ?

100 doctors from Australia thought it was a good idea to still go on a cruise even though the risk was known when they left.

Was that a “medical conference” which was a cruise with a couple of talks?
