Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez explained the details of the lockdown last Saturday, March 14, following an increase in the number of infections in the said country.After the announcement, various people living in Spain decided to show their gratitude and support for the health professionals working to slow down the disease’s spread. People in Madrid let out cheers and whistles along with their clapping, as seen in a clip posted by one @OmarFaouri on Twitter yesterday, March 15.

“Amazing reaction from the people,” he said. “22:00 time to be in solidarity with the doctors and healthcare services.”
