Recognizing their vital roles in the prevention of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the Office of the Vice President has launched a fund drive for medical and health care frontliners.

Vice President Leni Robredo called on the public to support the needs of COVID-19 frontline personnel in the national and local government levels. Robredo said her office has taken steps to procure their personal protective equipment .

“This is why we encourage everyone to help in supporting our frontlines and their families,” Robredo said in Filipino.
