A total of seven people have all tested positive for coronavirus. This is according to Health Minister, Dr Zweli Mkhize, who said all seven are a part of the group of 10 people who returned from Italy earlier this month.

Durban -

He was addressing the media during a press briefing on Monday. Mkhize said the tracer team will continue to conduct tests on all those who may have been in close contact with the infected parties. He added that all seven will be monitored by the team who will then update the inter-ministerial committee and regular updates will be shared with the public.

These people need to be named so that we know whether we’ve been in contact with them!!

The most dangerous thing is that those have probably been in contact with other people since they arrived. Soon the number will skyrocket and the virus will be uncontrollable. Our government is too casual on this matter.

That was to be expected - they travelled as a group of 10 at all times - it was only a matter of time before all presented with COVID-19. What we should be concerned about are all the unknowns who had come into contact with them.

alfred_cabonena 2 weeks ago Italy had 9 cases Case. Case. Cluster. Cluster. Boom

Honestly, what did they expect was going to happen when they didn't handle this right from the start and yet we are told not to panic.

Oh no 😷
