Coronavirus: ‘Not A Kobo Has Been Released,’ Lawan Contradicts Health Minister On N620m NCDC Fund

The minister, at a press briefing in Abuja on Friday last week, said the Federal Government had released every fund needed by the Port Health Services and the NCDC, which he described as the nation’s first and second lines of defence for coronavirus.According to him, the Port Health Services received about N70 million while the NCDC got N620 million.

“We are going to get across to the Minister of Finance and all the other authorities that have anything to do with this to release this money latest between today and tomorrow .” “We are in an emergency, even if we don’t have people who are affected, we shouldn’t just rest on our oars.

I salute the President of Senate for that timely visit and his deep concern. More is expected in other various projects; including roads that false information with photo trick on computer are given to deceive the masses. So many deceit and infrastructure decay.
