More human-to-human transmission confirmed as COVID-19 cases jump to 15 in NSW | Sky News Australia

After a 53-year-old doctor at Ryde hospital in Sydney’s north west was confirmed with the virus, health authorities are working to isolate some of his patients and up to 40 of his colleagues.

Six new cases confirmed in the state include two men in their 30s who arrived from Iran, a 53-year-old man from Singapore, a woman in her 60s from South Korea, another woman in her 60s from Japan and a woman in her 50s who has not travelled abroad. NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard said it was a developing situation as the number of cases was escalating.
