Coronavirus: Killer disease hit Nigeria, 12 other countries in 48 hours

On Wednesday, the World Health Organisation listed Brazil, Georgia, Greece, Macedonia, Pakistan, Romania and Norway as countries with new cases.With the development, coronavirus is now in 50 countries and caused the death of over 3,000 people. On Friday, the Nigerian government announced a COVID-19 case in Lagos, the commercial hub of Africa’s most populous nation.

The infected individual is an Italian citizen who works in Nigeria and returned from Milan, Italy to Lagos, on the 25th of February. The government has assured that the patient is clinically stable with no serious symptoms. He is currently being managed at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba, Lagos.The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control had announced
