ILOILO CITY – The Department of Education (DepEd) is considering rescheduling the 2020 Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) Meet in Aklan province next month due to concerns of the novel coronavirus acute respiratory disease (2019 nCoV ARD).

– The Department of Education is considering rescheduling the 2020 Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association Meet in Aklan province next month due to concerns of the novel coronavirus acute respiratory disease .

Ledesma told Manila Bulletin that the reschedule of the WVRAA, which was originally slated to be held this month, will be for the safety of student athletes, coaches, chaperones, and game officials from Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo, and Negros Occidental provinces, as well as the key cities of Bacolod and Iloilo.
