HONG KONG – The first Filipino domestic worker quarantined on Jan. 23 for possible coronavirus infection has been released and given a “clean bill of health," the Philippine Consulate in Hong Kong said Friday.
A 64-year-old female senior citizen member of the family she has been working for remains in the hospital after testing positive with the novel coronavirus, according to a February 5 update of the Center for Health Protection. Meanwhile, the consulate said it has yet to receive the 100,000 face masks from the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila.
