PUTRAJAYA: The health ministry today confirmed another two coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 14. One person is a Malaysian while the other is a Chinese national.

The 40-year-old woman had returned to her hometown for Chinese New Year on Jan 23. She had fever and sore throat on Feb 1, and a cough on Feb 4, leading her to seek treatment at a private clinic. Dzulkefly said the test for the woman came back positive on Feb 5 while her other relatives tested negative. Contact tracing is being carried out.
