KANGAR, Feb 6 — The Perlis government has no intention yet to cancel the annual East Wind Festival, to be held next month, due to the current 2019 novel coronavirus infection which has been reported in more than 20 countries, including Malaysia. “Until now, Perlis is free of the virus and the state also does not get many tourists coming from China,” he told the media when met after a dinner with the Raja of Perlis Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail and the Raja Perempuan of Perlis, Tuanku Tengku Fauziah Almarhum Tengku Abdul Rashid at the Royal Malaysia Police senior police officers’ mess here last night.
