PUTRAJAYA, Feb 3 (Bernama) -- Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad today praised Chinese authorities for their quick actions in dealing with the spread of the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak in the republic.

He also praised the Chinese government for being transparent in sharing the development of the outbreak which began in Wuhan with the world.

"This time, I must commend them for taking rigorous steps such as locking down Wuhan, ” he said in a news conference on the 2019-nCoV infection update here.
