CORONAVIRUS | M'sian students, lecturers back from China will be placed under home surveillance, says Dzulkefly Ahmad.

The government has engaged Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia to bring back Malaysians trapped in Wuhan, China.

There are 78 Malaysians in Wuhan, which is ground zero for the novel coronavirus. None of them have been reported as infected with the virus. Meanwhile, Dzulkefly said Malaysian students and lecturers who have returned from China for holidays will be placed under home surveillance. They are required to check themselves into a medical facility immediately if they begin showing symptoms of the virus.

I pray for d health of d flight crews...

Thats the way to do it. Get our ppl out of ground zero. Pity those Wuhan citizens stuck with the virus at ground zero. It will be a while until the virus source is identified and neutralised.

Bring them back but should be quarantined should the need arises.
