SINGAPORE - There are sufficient masks available in Singapore if people use them sensibly and responsibly, Senior Minister of State for Health Lam Pin Min has said.
Checks by The Straits Times at pharmacies and convenience stores in Toa Payoh and Somerset on Tuesday also found that masks were out of stock. At the Watsons outlet in Orchard Gateway, masks were not the only item out of stock. Hand sanitisers, thermometers and alcohol swabs were also sold out.
Then please explain why I can't get any at pharmacies.

it’s sold out everywhere. what are you talking about? hospitals are not selling them anymore and all the stores are selling a restricted number of masks. hand sanitisers are sold out in stores as well. so um sufficient? i doubt so.

Just went to 13 pharmacies, including sengkang hospital & polyclinic. Surgical masks & hand sanitizers ALL SOLD OUT. My mum and I are sick but I guess the only way for us to have a chance to get masks is to go out and spread our virus to everyone else. 'Sufficient masks'? Where
Fake news. Masks have been out of stock since 24th. I've been looking everywhere & the pharmacy staffs told me the warehouse is out of stock until today! They aren't sure when the new supplies will arrive.

Propaganda. They are telling us that there is sufficient supply, no need to rush to buy them and if we do so. It will appear that the stores have have stocks but in reality they do not. Bunch of bullshit.

If there are sufficient supply, why can't i even buy 1 mask for each family member? We r not asking too much, right? How to expect trust from people in return? How ludicrous when someone say wear a mask if u r unwell, when u don't even have 1?

The horse has already bolted - people panic bought the masks already. There is no stock in just about every major retailer out there.
Plenty stock at MPs houses, privileges. Advice are poor as reality at normal outlets are zero. Get out of your office and distribute masks to all HDB homes.
