KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian glove makers have received an urgent request from China for more medical gloves following the outbreak of the coronavirus which started in Wuhan, China which has killed over 100 people.

The President of the Malaysian Rubber Glove Manufacturers Association , Denis Low said on Tuesday the industry would do its utmost best to ensure an adequate supply of medical gloves to the world are met.

Reuters reported the death toll from the virus has climbed to 106 in China and cases are being reported in a growing number of other countries.
