PETALING JAYA: Fourteen Malaysians and nine foreigners have been classified as Patient-Under Investigation for the novel coronavirus, the Health Ministry revealed.

He said the remaining four – two Malaysians and two China nationals – were in isolation at several hospitals pending laboratory test results.The DG said of the eight China nationals who were in direct contact with the first positive case in Singapore, three tested positive for the virus – a 65-year-old woman and two children aged two and 11.He said the four patients who tested positive were in stable condition at the isolation wards.

Dr Noor Hisham said suspected cases would be checked and referred to hospital for sample taking and symptom observation.
