The New South Wales Rural Fire Service commissioner has defended the organisation’s preparations ahead of this devastating bushfire season as crews use the cooler weather to strengthen containment lines ahead of worsening conditions this weekend.

You've failed to mention the central point - the person in charge of fuel reduction burning is explicitly debunking Barnaby's claims about greens being responsible - very little could be completed because the weather was too hot and windy!
