SHAH ALAM : The Selangor government expects water supply affected by the closure of the Sungai Semenyih water treatment plant to recover soon, possibly by late Sunday .
"As of this evening, the odour pollution reading was at one tonne, this amount is safe to use and can be distributed to consumers but it will have an unpleasant odour," he told reporters here Sunday."I hope it can be resolved quickly and water supply distributed to consumers by late tonight," he said.
"Actually, the incidence of water disruption is just four to five times – same as previous years. Probably it has been widely reported by the local media this year, so many people perceive this year's disruptions as frequent," he said.
AmirudinShari u said water supply will be restored very soon yesterday nite, at 7am 2day, Air Selangor released a press statement saying the pollution not reduced but on increasing manner. Are u or were u well informed on the situation? We do not want a postman as our MB.
Did he get the facts right or is it another political talks
Worst MB. Only exist to officiate events.
How soon?
MB, you just new bout this?
So frequent & Too frequent! Is Air Selangor and state government doing their work?
Better restore the water supply soonest! We have suffered enough. Water disruptions in Selangor are too frequent to accept. The KPI for water management in Selangor is a D minus. Being the 'most developed state' in the country, such disruptions are most unacceptable. Wake up!
Is this another joke?
We have air pollution, water pollution, environmental pollution, blah, blah, blah, but what exactly is ODOUR pollution Please use the correct terminology or description and stop misleading the people. What is there to 'pollute the odour'? What exactly are the pollutants?
