Denis O'Sullivan, 35, is the son of well-known radio broadcaster Mike O'Sullivan.
His father Mike said in a Facebook post: "Dear Friends. It is with the deepest sadness that I have to announce the passing of one of our son's, Denis, age 35. Denis was diagnosed with cancer last June and passed away peacefully, in the presence of his loving family, last night at Cork University Hospital.
