DRINKING artificially-sweetened drinks like Diet Coke could make you more likely to put weight on, doctors have warned.
His team reviewed previous research and came across a US study of 5,158 adults over a seven-year period. "Artificial sweeteners can also change the gut bacteria which may lead to weight gain and risk of type 2 diabetes".
Anything diet equivalent, has man made chemical substitutes. Never as good as the real thing.
