BUTUAN CITY – Health authorities on Wednesday reported that they already reached 93% percent of its target to immunize kids through the conduct of “Sabayang Patak Kontra Polio” in Northeastern Mindanao or Caraga region.

– Health authorities on Wednesday reported that they already reached 93% percent of its target to immunize kids through the conduct of “Sabayang Patak Kontra Polio” in Northeastern Mindanao or Caraga region.

Regional Director Dr. Jose R. Llacuna Jr. of the Department of Health said 93% percent of the 327,132 children between zero and 59 months in the Caraga region already received the polio vaccine during the “Sabayang Patak Kontra Polio” intensified drive. The region’s top DOH 13 official lauded the parents who cooperated with the health agency as well as the health workers and other stakeholders for their concerted efforts to cover much wider areas and reach more families and children for the OPV vaccination.
