A seagull has been filmed eating a rat in a north Glasgow area which residents claim has been 'overrun' with the disease-carrying rodents.
The Sighthill man told how residents faced daily battles with the pests who could be heard in the walls and floors as well as entering flats. Since Glasgow Live reported on the issue in June, both Glasgow City Council and Wheatley Homes sent out staff to the area and poison was placed as rat holes and access areas were filled.
Michael told Glasgow Live, he said: "It's shocking we have to live like this. We have been dealing with these rats for over a year now and nothing is getting better. "Every time I look out my window I see them. It's disgusting, I hate even going to my car because their is always a risk of meeting one no matter the time of day.
