The Kwara Government has alerted healthcare surveillance teams across all the state’s 16 Local Government Areas on preparations and preventive measures against any outbreak of cholera.
NAN reports that cases of severe gastro-enteritis have been reported in communities around Eti-Osa, Lagos Island, Ikorodu and Kosofe LGAs of Lagos State. Akande emphasised the need for preventive measures, including adequate food hygiene and water supply together with sanitation.
